We loved this place! Initially we thought it a bit expensive but it is completely worth it for a night. It’s right in the center of Brugge, which makes it easy to get around. David de Graef was super friendly and was able to answer all our questions, even giving us recommendations for places to visit and what time to avoid the other tourists. The building is open to the public in the afternoon for him to show off his artwork but otherwise it is closed off and then it is nice and quiet for his guests to enjoy. We were most surprised by the breakfast. It tasted amazing, was healthy, and kept us full for a long time. At checkout time he allowed us to keep our bags in a storage closet until we left the city later that day so that we wouldn’t have to go to our car yet. That was really nice of him. All in all this place was amazing and we would recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy a fancy guesthouse for a night.
